Wanting to eat some delicious looking leftovers but not wanting to wake anybody up with the noise from the microwave. Tomorrow for lunch, maybe.
It’s late. Everyone is asleep but me. I wouldn’t mind joining them- I just having problems falling asleep at night. Been that way for a while. The thoughts like to creep up on me when slumber is near. Tonight I don’t mind staying up a little longer. Working later tomorrow. Hopefully I can sleep in some.
My love sleeps peacefully. After a long day, she needs it. She rarely gets a break from the little person growing inside her. I tell her our peanut must be bouncing around inside her all the time, since she still often gets sick.
I worry about us having to be apart, even if it is for a short time. Unfortunately, she leaves on her 20th week for the states, so I won’t get to be there when she finds out the gender. Bummed, but sometimes things don’t turn out the way we want them to.
Still trying to decide if I would like a boy or girl. Doesn’t really matter to me- I will happy with a healthy baby and me being a good parent.
On a side note, I am interested to watch how our child will grow. I thought about the Oedipus complex today and wondered if it would be something still present in the development of our peanut.
But anyway, I still have a long way to go to find that out.
I cannot wait to be able to hold our baby for the first time and to start our little family.
