April 8, 2014

I was browsing through several random topic pages in the Reader and I stumbled upon the “Freshly Pressed” section. I have seen some good posts in this section but recent, I have just seen some sad posts. There was one about “6 Reasons I Love my Boy Toy” or some random stuff.
What are the requirements for being Freshly Pressed? Is it how many hits you get on a post? I don’t get it when I read some of titles of the posts.
I might not ever be F-Pressed and that is okay.
I may never have 10,000 or even 1,000 followers and I am okay with that as well. I have never been super popular or semi-popular.
I really just do this blog to write whatever the hell I want when I want. Fictionpress got old and depressing because very few people on that site ever hoped to be published or do anything in a writing related field. I applaud those who get F-Pressed, especially the ones who actually have a thought provoking or relevant post.
And now I go about my day posting about poems, my baby, and everything over and under the rainbow.
