Sunday Night

September 20, 2015

Waiting for my wife to get home. She had to work all weekend (her off days) but hey- that’s the military. Or so people tell me often. My daughter and I had a quiet weekend, we went outside this morning to get a couple of things from the store and it felt like being trapped in an oven. It was 97 degrees this evening and outside feels as if it hasn’t cooled down much.

My classes start tomorrow. Yay- I guess. Eight more months of school and I should be done with this degree and have the overrated bragging rights of having gone to college.

I have a headache that won’t quit. I took some Tylenol but the cause could be from a lack of caffeine (which I have had very little of in the past week or something else. I could really go for a nice cold Coke right now but I know I don’t need it. I actually have some in the fridge and when I see it, I get the craving but then it goes away when I move on with my day.

One more off day and then back to the madness at work. Inventory is a week away and no one seems to be prepping for it like me. I have been busting my ass but I can only do so much in a day. I hate to see how it is when I go back to work on Tuesday.

She’s still not home. I hope she gets back soon.

  1. I remember the military life. That schedule that wasn’t really a “schedule” definitely sucked! Hopefully she got home soon. πŸ™‚

    • Yeah, her schedule can get crazy sometimes and they try to change it on her last minute. It was a long weekend but this weekend we got to see a lot of each other and she finally got to relax so all is well. : )
